Rich men and women are made by words.

I cannot give you the formular for success, but I can give you the formular for failure. Which is; try to please everybody.

DO NOT DWELL ON THE PAST

This is what the Lord says-

he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters...Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. Isaiah 43:18

Do not dwell on your past success, business, happiness, friendship, relationship, etc. Do not dwell on the past life. Stop blaming yourself for what couldn't go on well in the past. And do not keep the pains of yesterday.

If things didn't go on well (probably last year, last month, last week, yesterday), let them go. Don't start your day worrying about bad things that happened the day before. Remember what the psalmist said

"this is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it" psalm 118:24.

You can't do anything about the past. However, you can make plans today to have a better tomorrow. God knows your future more than you knew your past. The only truth about the past is it hinders you from receiving the best from the Lord.

Paul said in

Philippians 3:13 that "...But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." NIV

In verse 19 of Isaiah 43, God said

"see, I am doing a new thing (in your life)! Now it shall spring up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland"

God will not say what He can't do. As a matter of fact,

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH HIM;

Mark 10:17. He is what He says He is. If He says He is doing a new thing in your life, it means He is doing a new thing in your life. He is faithful. Where your strength ends is where He begins. He will never leave you, nor forsake you. Where there is no Hope, He brings hope. Where there is no Joy, He brings joy.

I know the God I serve. He is I am that I am. He is the first and the last. I know what He can do in just a minute. He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. He can do it for you.

He is telling you today to forget the former things and focus on what He can do for you today and tomorrow.

God bless you as you leave the past behind in Jesus' Name. Amen.

BE PREPARED TO MEET HIM

Heaven and Earth will pass away, but my Word will never pass away.

Friends, I want us to take some time today, to talk about this "Heaven and earth will pass away..." we brought nothing here, and it is certain we will take nothing away.

1 peter 1:24 says "for all men are like grass, and their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers, and the flowers fall."

In James 4:14, James asked this sensible question "...what is your life? It is even a vapour that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."

Job also added in Job 14:7 that "for there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. But man dieth, and wasteth away; yea man giveth up ghost, and where is he?"

We are here for one purpose; To fear God and to keep His commandments; (Eccle 12:13). ...therefore, flee the evil desires of your youth. 2 Timothy 2:22.

God will bring every deed into judgement, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. And our secret sins are in the light of His presence.
Psalm 90:8

It is good to go to school, have better job, buy cars, build houses, have a wonderful family, hang-out with friends, eat, go to church, and go for holidays, Etc. But Becareful, or your heart will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness, and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap.
Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.

Remember this "...but my words will never pass away." "But the word of the Lord stands forever". And by the same word, the present Heaven and Earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of Judgement and destructions of ungodly men.

The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise (that Heaven and Earth are reserved for fire) as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. As you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming, bear in mind that our Lord's PATIENCE means SALVATION.

The conclusion of the whole matter is Be happy young man, while you are young and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see. But know that for all these things, God will bring you to Judgement.

Be prepared to meet the King of kings. Jesus is coming soon.

I WAS SAVED BY THE LIGHT

I was on my way to see a colleague. All of a sudden, I found myself in a group of young guys at one corner. They asked me to give them all I had on me. Initially, I thought it was a joke but hey! Fear wanted to grip me. I kept myself under control and stood on the Word of God that says "... Be strong and courageous... No man shall be able to stand before you..." I wanted to show them how strong I was at that time.

While we were struggling, a light showed forth. It was a car. It wasn't coming towards my direction but as soon as those guys saw the light, they fled. Some fell, some jumped, some said "you're lucky" etc. At that moment, I remembered Psalm 91 "you will observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked".

They didn't know who was in that car, neither did they have any idea where the car was going, yet they ran. The light was so powerful that none could stand. I WAS SAVED BY THE LIGHT.

Psalm 27:1 says The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid of?

When your headlight is functioning well as you drive, you are sure of the way ahead. This means that when the Lord God Almighty is your light, your future is secured, and your success is certain. Your tomorrow is brighter than today, and you will be prosperous all the days of your life.

This is what gives me the Confidence that MY BEST DAYS ARE AHEAD OF ME because the LORD is the light of my life.

David said "...even though I walk through the valley of the shadows of death, I will fear no evil..." why?

The Lord was his light.

Wouldn't you rather make the LORD the light of your Life?

God bless you.

THE WORD OF GOD

If you do not know the word of God enough, you cannot please Him. That is to say, if you do not know God well, there is absolutely no way you can please Him. The word of God is God (John 1:1. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God) that is why He only works with His word (John 1:3. All things were made by Him (His word); and without Him (His word) was not anything made that was made).

The Bible says without Faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). How does one get faith then?

Faith comes by hearing and by hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17), which means if you hear and meditate more on the word, you will begin to understand His precepts which increase your faith in Him.

God loved David so much because David took time to understand God's precepts (Psalm 119:15. I will meditate in thy precepts; 119:87. They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts; 119:104. Through thy precepts, I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way; 119:93. I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me), and how the kingdom of God operates.

God deals with each of us according to the faith we have in Him. If you have strong faith, He does mighty things. On the other hand, if your faith in Him is weak, He does little things for you

Don’t be weary

Run on children, don't be weary.

You are too close to allow fatigue to prevent you from crossing the finishing line.

There are moments in our lives that we feel like we are the only person going through what we are going through.

Hey! That is not true because somebody is going through what someone else just got out.

Somebody is watching you, somebody is cheering for you, somebody is praying for your, somebody is encouraging you.

You've come too far to quit. Somebody made it and never had what you have today (mobile phones, internet, etc).

If you can keep the faith in spite of the pain, and know that God did bring you this far and can pray within your soul, you can do all things.
